At Sweet Consulting, LLC our vision is to help families living with behavioral problems to create a plan specific to their needs that will make lasting, positive changes to grow and reach their fullest potential.

Sweet Consulting, LLC Founder

Dustin Sweet

Dustin Sweet is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over twenty years experience in a variety of roles, providing support for children and adults from as young as three years old to adults into their seventies. In addition to his role as BCBA, Dustin is a certified special education teacher in New Jersey and a Certified Employment Support Professional. In early 2020, Dustin decided to start Sweet Consulting to share his experience and “kid first” professional philosophy with schools, families and other professionals in the field.

Early in his career in schools, Dustin supported students with a variety of special needs as a Paraprofessional/ Teacher’s Assistant in public and private schools. Dustin, then as a Lead Teacher, started the Introduction to Employment program at Eden Autism Services. During his tenure at Eden, Dustin also served as a Teacher Parent in the group homes, Assistant Director of Education, Assistant Director of Employment services for the adult program, Behaviorist, and the Director of the Extended School Year Summer Residential Camp in Port Murray, NJ.

 

While earning his Behavior Analyst Certification, Dustin worked as the Behavior Consultant for North Brunswick High School and then for a company that provides Applied Behavior Analysis consultation in a variety of settings throughout the state as a Behavior Tech, a BCBA and Coordinator for the adult services program.

 

When Dustin is not leading Sweet Consulting and providing clinical services as a BCBA, he is either at home with his beautiful wife and young daughter or engaged in a number of hobbies. These hobbies include woodworking, and outdoorsman activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, and foraging for mushrooms. Moreover, Dustin has been an Assistant Baseball Coach for South River High School for eight years and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
